Thai,Maori numbers
In the term 2 holidays Mrs Parkinson went on a trip to Thailand and she learned lots off things and in maths she taught us Thai numbers. We now know that Thai numbers are similar to Maori numbers because they use the same format e.g in Maori, fourteen is tekau ma wha because tekau is ten and 4 is wha and in Thai, fourteen is sip see because sip is ten and see is four. We like Hearing about Mrs Parkinson's adventure and if you would like to here about it come into room12 and we will show you the pictures on the board.
