Room12 Awesome Remembrance Assembly
Room12 awesome remembrance Assembly was on the 25th of May. I was a tour guide and mad scientist with Melissa. We wore awesome costumes with lab coats, black skirts, a white top and funny glasses. My favourite part was the memorial service and the training in Egypt skits. I liked the memorial service because I liked listening to the last post. The training was awesome because of the bossy Sargent's. I think everyone did an awesome job and participated well.

Morse Code
The Morse code was a special use of language used in World War II for spies spying on the enemy to contact their own army without the enemy overhearing and foiling their war plans. It is made out of dots and dashes. If the enemies caught them they would probably get killed instantly or face execution days later. We hardly ever use the Morse code any more. Did you know that the titanic captain sent out a Morse code signal saying SOS ---...---. the message got to the control center but help didn't get there fast enough. I also liked making wreaths from paper plates and cut out poppies. We then had to write a snippet about why we made the wreaths. I also liked the feeding the troops activity. I learned that hard tack {hard biscuits}can be grated and turned into porridge.
